that surprises you? bro air walked on the third wall, travelled around the speed of light to reach an airplane, crash it, then fall down without a scratch. AND THAT WAS IN 2019 not to mention he travels at maximum mach 4 Mach 4 is 4 times faster than the speed of sound, and basically any mach in the speed value. he also caused a level 5 earthquke and power 2 nuke from just summersaulting [is that the word?] pizzahead.

I love how the final boss is a rare instance of the main protagonist, generally portrayed as insane by mostly anxious, has just finally had enough of the situation and goes absolutely ballistic the moment the boss rush segment comes up. In most cases the player sees this and goes "Oh god, not this shit", but Peppino straight up says, "I'M MAD AS HELL AND I'M NOT GONNA TAKE THIS ANYMORE" and begins throwing hands.

That is just star platinum material right there

Peppino going from scared and anxious all game to going in absolute bloodlust rage in the end bossfight is so cool

that ending cutscene is a lot more cute than it's given the credit for. after getting unprecedented levels of rage, fighting everyone a second time in a frenzied state and running down an entire tower saving the people he hates, peppino just sits down catches his breath, with pretty much his only friend giving him a pat on the back. i also like how the noise is glad the tower is destroyed since he clearly hated it as well, while pepperman and vigilante are annoyed their home is destroyed. and then fake peppino is just like ":T"

I love how in 18:42, even Pizza Face is shocked at the rage Peppino exhibits. Being generally an annoying ass, threatening to destroy a man's only piece of work, and mocking that man at every waking moment may have filled that crusty, cheesy ego to the brim. But, unexpectedly, and most definitely unfortunately, it bred his only and likely worst adversary: a man with nothing to lose. Trust me, you do not want to face a man with nothing to lose.

I've noticed that the final boss where Peppino finally snaps, has been a tremendous build up for him. Climbing the tower, defeating the bosses all whilst probably thinking that if he doesn't succeed, his restaurant will be destroyed. The anxiety, the stress, the anger... all of that comes boiling up when the final boss keeps laughing and mocking Peppino and when he pulls out all the stops by getting the other bosses to fight Peppino he finally has enough and snaps. This kind of reminds me of real world scenarios where someone would be pushed to this point. We never see the build up, only the fallout and we pass judgement, often unfairly. We often ask how could this person flip out like this, how could this person get this angry, but honestly if we had noticed all of it, sort of like we could with Pizza tower and it's final boss sequence... wouldn't our opinion perhaps change, wouldn't we try to put a stop to this so that the person doesn't reach that breaking point? I dunno, perhaps I'm overthinking it.

You managed to give such a philosophical and realistic viewpoint of life based on a single video game and I love it!

I just think of it as alright enough is enough and went nuts on them for all the trouble and Peppino fighting pizza was just chaos with Peppino going "ah hell nah"

When i first saw this game i was like, yo wtf had they done to my soup? But after watching the full storyline, i take my opinion back because this is a underground banger on Steam and a hidden masterpiece that just wants to be found. The story is nothing crazy but simple and almost breathtaking at the end when Peppino had enough and goes beyond his limits of pure anxiety and fear in order to save what he cares most. This game deserves a second part. ❤

That first boss is such a great setup for what to expect for future bosses

Peppino is a simple man with a simple dream of owning a pizza place he no doubt he had his far share of struggles just getting his place going so much so it made him a anxious nervous wreak but he still kept going eventually getting his place up, sure he was in debt but such is the struggle of owning a small business. being in debt is one thing but having a more successful rival kick you while your down by threatening to destroy his store for litrally NO REASON WHATSO EVER is something else. he may have been on the verge of losing his business but that pizza heading FREAK threatened his dream. Peppino is a determined man fueled by anxiety of losing something he put his blood, sweat and tears into and will fight tooth and nail to keep his simple dream alive.

I realized that, apart from the Pizza Face fight, your enemies get weaker over time. In the Pepperman fight you need to deal 20 damage For Vigilante it's 18 15 for Noise 12 for Boss 4 And then there's Pizza Face where you have to deal 104 TOTAL DAMAGE throughout the whole fight.

The reason so many people like this game is because it’s so avant-garde. It just goes to show how awesome true individualism is.

Throughout the game, you've been dealing with everyone's shenanigans for far too long. Every time there was a second phase, every time they had a key blocking your path to the one who wants to destroy your establishment for the lols. The moment you see all the bosses reappear one by one, clearly showing a final boss rush, presumably with a "restart whole boss" game over... You feel exactly like Peppino, at first questioning what's going on, then realising what's happening... He is tired of dealing with the final boss rush trope in platformers, so he yells a battle cry of frustration right before gaining your OWN second phase and beating the toppings out of the bosses one by one.

Pepperman: Linear pattern of attacks. Vigilante: Linear pattern of attacks, but changes every hit point instead of every two. Noise: Certain attacks happen once per hit point and have upgraded attacks afterward, but order is random. Then does random set of attacks. Haven’t done the rest of the bosses yet! :)

The noise has four different attacks and will perform each one twice for each health bar actually

That entire finale was the most intense shit I've ever played. Masterpiece

Seeing Peppino already at his nevers end at the start... Then that Pizza appears, and this whole fever dream adventure starts... This so feels like that Peppino actually just became insane due to the stress of work, and in reality, there's no pizza Tower.
