Hi George and Su hope you’re having a great weekend, thank you so much for sharing this great video, it’s so lovely to see tourist numbers going up!! Are some hotels like Antigoni staying closed this year? Hopefully things will continue to improve next year for the tourist trade. The Cypriot hospitality is second to none!! Such warm people. I remember going to the bars on the Dhekelia Road when I was a kid, and the bar staff adored the little kids, we were given sweets, we were allowed to play darts, they were and still are so lovely to the kids, my colleagues who visit Cyprus with kids tell me so. My friend’s sister and brother in law used to visit Cyprus every year up until Covid-19 interrupted everything. Her brother in law sadly won’t be able to visit the island he loved, he tragically died in a moped accident, it was such a shock, I lit a memorial candle for him, and I promised my friend that I would light a candle in Cyprus for him when I get to Cyprus again. 🇨🇾☀️🤩🥰❤️🍀🙏🕯

Hopefully things will get better for the Cyprus tourist trade next year, and they can welcome guests back like before Covid-19 disrupted everything. Hi George, I would like to give a big shout out to the owners of the Happy days restaurant on the main strip of Protaras, I lost my wallet with nearly €600 plus all my cards, they tracked me down and returned the wallet. It would have spoiled what was otherwise a brilliant holiday, so would just like to say how grateful I am to them. On another note we were on the strip the day you were filming would have love to have met you😢 also you were only across the way in Nissau beach as we were in the King Jason, but maybe next year😊

Oh wow, great for them, we definitely will mention that and we need to get there to eat. Next year for sure Chris, let the count down begin.

I was at Corali Spa when they were building the jade. Went back to the spa a year later and the jade was open, they don't mess about..

@CYPRUS INSIGHT our fav Kebab shop(the owner has a London connection) is up by there on the main road near the Donkey shop. Was due to stay Corali this year but had to cancel, rebooked for 2022 but couldn't get Corali so booked Blue Ivy. Which is the first place we ever stayed in Cyprus although it was called Tropical Dreams then.. Enjoying your vids.. 👍
