It's not something you see! It's something you FEEL. Like the song is such a VIIIBE and the Choreo goes so HARD even to this day. It honestly did not get the recognition it deserved with the Kpop community, but I guess that's what happens when Kpop actually puts talented stuff/people out. Taemin's body control is unworldly for a self-taught dancer. Honestly, the only way to describe his dancing is... if it looks hard, it's hard. If if looks easy, it's even harder. I love his unorthdox method of dancing!

I know this is like from ages ago but Taemin's "Advice" Choreography along with the rest of the members of ShiNee for "Don't Call Me" jeezz I could never.

if im not wrong in some interviews he said that 'Move' choreo existed that way since he's thinking 'ah choreo of a song doesn't need to be so out of breath all the time to be amazing' after shinee comeback dance doesn't make him tired which makes him kinda disappointed since it doesn't feel so satisfying. so he definitely wanting to not go hard on the dance, but it just make it more harder for everyone 😭

THE 7TH SENSE WAS THE WHOLE REASON I GOT INTO KPOP! I clearly remember watching the video for the first time and being so entranced cause I had never seen anything as ethereal and hauntingly beautiful as the choreo of that song. I couldn’t stop watching it for months (I wish I was exaggerating) Even after almost 4 years I can still say this choreo is just so good. NCT choreos are seriously under appreciated it really hurts me.

My favorite thing about Move is that it’s so easy to learn that literally everybody knew it and EVERYONE was doing it. There’s so many videos of idols covering the dance out there and yet— it doesn’t take away from Taemins dance at all. In fact, it only highlights how much *better* he is at it.

As a dancer myself, I agree with NCT U- The 7th Sense. When I first learn the choreography , I was having a pretty hard time trying to remember the whole thing, because there was so many detail, straight out from the intro to the end. I still manage to learn the choreography, but boy when I tell you, it was a pain in the butt:~ I had a feeling that maybe the concept didn’t really suit my style and to be honest, I have no idea what kind of concept it was.

I'm by far no professional dancer, but I'd say that I do have my fair share of experience (having danced for nearly 15 years now), and I've always admired Taemin for the way he dances, I've never seen something quite like it. It's just so sensual and well coordinated that it feels almost trance-like. And I can't express how fired up I get when people keep on putting Move and other songs of his in easy kpop random dance challenges.

Move’s choreography feels almost heavy but weightless and flowy at the same time and even though Im not a dancer, I’m amazed at how Taemin does it so flawlessly. He conveys the right emotions and the right feeling it’s so magical

Finally a video I can agree with! I’m a dancer as well! The thing with all of these dances is that they are so detailed. Even when you perform them, If you don’t have the right energy or presence for these chores it can tend to look sloppy or out of place, I can say that from personal experience xD. yes to shinee's lucifer. that was the first choreography that really made my jaw drop to the floor. and i might be wrong but i think it also catapulted the trend of uploading dance practices. the synchronization, the speed and uniqueness of lucifer makes it iconic. also happy you added infinite because i totally forgot about them and when i heard the chaser again it gave me chills. a group right now that impresses me with their choreography is literally any NCT dance but for me cherry bomb remains my favorite

I wouldn't really compare it to abstract art but I think I get what you're trying to say. I think its that in this case it doesn't necessarily have to convey a message or a meaning(and no there's nothing wrong with that)but that its just the randomness of it and difficulty aspect of it that makes it very,very pleasing to the eye.

Late as hell but MAJOR props to TAEMIN’s bd’s. Move is a devil to learn and they killed it and obviously TAEMIN. Also floor work is equally as difficult 😐 props to NCT too.

Interestingly, 8:30 is a traditionally 'feminine' kpop walk, and it's executed very sensually to be sure, yet he loses nothing of his natural masculine energy because he owns it fully, embraces and embodies it. And it's vibe is just so straight-up, plain-ol' *sexy* that, that is all you can see when he moves : the sexytimes walking towards you. It's mesmerizing, full-on slinky cat-like grace with a vampire's seductive lure. We'd better hope he never uses his powers for evil, 'cause we've already lost if he even starts! xD

Agree, Taemin's Move has been covered by SO MANY IDOLS and dancers but noone ever come close to what Taemin does. When Taemin does it, it's so mesmerising, like I'm hypnotized by the way he moves.

let me just say, i’ve been dancing for almost 15 years (oh my god i feel old and im 17) and i have only finished half the video and i agree 100% with these. i learned BST a couple months ago but it took me WEEKS to get those steps of the chorus down, and i never even thought about traveling oml. there are so many other dances that i’ve tried to learn and have gotten down but i know that i look absolutely ridiculous executing the moves bc of how specific it has to be. dances that dont have a specific feel or emotion to them are so hard to perform correctly bc you have to make sure that you dont make it too sensual or too enthusiastic. i’m so glad that someone who actually knows what they’re talking about has made one of these videos bc there are way to many people who just spew bs and get people to believe them so thank you for making this.

I haven't seen anyone talking about Ateez but their choreographies are so fucking hard. ALL OF THEM without exceptions and they are so fucking good that omg they have formations, a lot of hard dances and their dances require a LOT OF ENERGY They are incredible

the most wild part about move is the fact that taemin almost does the movements backwards of what you would think. most people move their muscles down for the dance, but he's lifting up. it's wild to even try to replicate his abdominal movements.

I'm a self-taught dancer who's done this for three years and I totally disagree with the sentiment that if a dance is faster, it's automatically hard. I've learned fast choreos within an hour at least, but I've never been able to execute Move although it is slower. If I was going to add one, I would say Next Level by aespa just cause of it's complicated moves that are really hard for a rookie to pull off and while I learned it in the end, it took almost a week of practice to make the moves look good although I memorized the choreo wayyyy before.

The first time I knew that move was from the cover stage dance twice and it made me speechless, and after I saw the orginal Taemin's dance practice it drove me really crazy. Until now, whenever I see Taemin's MOVE dance practice, I still go crazy over that body control.

I agree with this list of the hardest dances. I have said from the beginning that Taemin's dance choreo for Move is deceptive when watching and immensely difficult. I would also add the group History's song Might Just Die, and y'all know what part I'm talking about. Just try jumping and spinning yourself in the air without hurting yourself. I know they certainly did get hurt learning the choreo because of that part which they showed and talked about in the BTS.

Actually Move by Taemin is really easy to memorize the choreo but it is so hard to do it, u need body control and at the same time make your body flowy with timing. A lot of kidols made a cover of it but Taemin is the only one who did perfectly bcoz he has this “own” move. Lucifer is one of the hardest choreo in that time and SHINee known as one of the best kpop group who dances hard bcoz not all bg before dances hard choreo like them while maintaining the vocal live. Check out SHINee i promise its not too late to stan and getting to know them even if they are already 14 years old in the industry.

Im a dancer and I love this. I will agree with you on majority of it however I will also say that it depends on what kind of style you are the best at. im mostly a modern and contemporary dancer and just as an example; I had an easy time learning blood sweat and tears. however I could not fathom the popping in don't wanna cry and I had to literally give up when I came to that part..... same with some of Idol.... (it took me so long to learn that one) because im not the best at hiphop and def. not at popping. But I will def. agree these are helluva hard to learn if you don't dance already or if you are only a beginner. Oh and 7th sense wasn't too hard it does break a sweat but the choreo wasn't hard to learn.

Seventeen's synchronization is everything. We thought dance moves can ruined by with more members n it's looks unclean but it's not with SVT. Their every moves/spots/position/synchronization always used to look so perfect n so clean.

I think they use this trick: Break into a few division, have leader or ref point for each division. So leader synch with main ref point and others focus on their ref point. So its not too straining on the eye or whatever sense they use during synchronizing

Apart from the dances , I really really appreciate the narrator of this video who added his /her comments in every video which is more like a PROOF to ones who are denying the fact that the dance is easy . It is very easy to tell that the narrator has discovered dance by his /her own hands rather than via someone.

Not only I agreed with all of these, I like to add Naughty (Irene and Seulgi) here. Tutting is already an incredibly hard dance to do. To be able to reach the that level of isolation and precision, you have to be a professional dancer of some sort. Even professionals I know can't do tutting since keeping everything at a 90° angle is already hard. Executing it to look clean is also another level of hard.

I am not a professional dancer, but dance from time to time, and im gonna be honest taemins move was the hardest for me, not just the dancing but the aura you have to give off while dancing, I still haven't been able to give off the needed vibe while dancing to move

Yesss, finally somebody who knows what they're talking about. No shade to the other lists but most dances on there are fast, not hard. But for non-dancers, the fast ones just look more difficult. Taemin's choreos are insane though. That man has more control over his left pinkie than I have over my whole body. (That's a joke, I also dance but still lmaoo)

I haven’t seen much of Taemin’s solo work but wow, I definitely agree on that dance being one of the hardest I’ve ever seen. At first, as a non-dancer, I used to just think that fast = hard, which for some it can be, but I grew to realise it’s more about precision and control. It’s really hard not to look silly when you’re dancing so slowly and sensually, even if it looks easy to do. Well, easy to learn maybe, but not easy to actually pull off. I could try, but without experience I would never master the way Taemin or his dancers move.

And his hard choreographies like Criminal, famous, drip drop and Advice is really hard. He is a good dancer so the choreographers also feel challenging to make the best choreos for him.

I had 9 years of dance training also… Not only are some of these moves hard just to execute on your own correctly, but then you have to also make sure you match with everybody else on the timing and the placement of your hands - especially those moments with the smaller details like a small hand flick!!! And then even more so when it goes fast! 😱😱😱

Honestly I learned b s & t with my friend and the foot work in the chorus is much easier than it looks. We practiced like five minutes and got it pretty much synchronized. The whole dance just needs a bit of practice and I agree it’s hard but not as much as it looks.

Coming from a dancer too, I completely agree with the majority of things you've said in this video. Especially at the end when speaking about Taemin. I have many male friend dancers and they think Taemin dancing is so cool and they find it so hard to master his dancing since Taemin has complete control of what seems like every inch of his body. I can still remember them trying to dance to Move and they practically gave up in the first 5 mins (it was for fun) since they couldn't do it like Taemin ha ha. Anyways, great video!! :)

@@crazy girl I think the choreographies in Dreamcatcher are quite interesting compared to a lot of other girl groups. But, Scream in particular is not really difficult. To be honest though, there are quite a few dances that are in the video that I don't agree with. There are many ways to make dances hard, and I think Dreamcatcher had the right rhythm and tempo to make the dance be quite complex. For example, for NCT U 7th Sense, this dance is way harder than it looks. In the most simplest way, the beats of it are scary. It's almost like you can't rely on the rhythm etc of the song because in other words, the dance is 'random', but it suits it sooooo well. It's difficult to imagine dancing it. I think Taeyong and Ten do it incredibly well. But, for an example that matches Dreamcatcher's situation more, I'd say, if you look at WIN from Ateez (I don't think there is a choreography video so just look at San dancing it in the studio), they play way more with the rhythms etc, and it's cool to watch. They do a lot of footwork, and I think Dreamcatcher could've easily done more on Scream. I know this is quite long, but I just want you to see a few comparisons and of why there are dances way harder than Scream (in particular) :)
