Neji quickly got up after the arrow but died to the spike? 2: Neji could have used 8 Trigrams 64 Palms and easily destroyed it. And.. 3 The dumbest reason. That was Naruto's shadow clone Neji died for. Sure it was headed for Hinata too, but it wouldn't do anything to her. Only it would hit Naruto's shadow clone. I understand they did it for plot, or to make Hinata closer to Naruto or something but the whole death of Neji was stupidly written and just all in all horrible. They nerfed an amazing character.

In the manga there was a progression of her saying less and less hurtful things because she actually had character growth. That's the Sakura I respected even if I didn't like her. I personally don’t hate Sakura. I actually like her. But I agree that what she said when she was younger was harsh. She was a fangirl and only 12 so she was still a brat. But as she got older, she got more mature. It did not help that she had a split “inner mind” and had major self-esteem and insecurity issues but she’s relatively grown out of that. Someone said that she’s a Tsundere type and I’d have to agree with that. She’s harsh yes, but she still cares about her friends, Naruto especially. She became protective of him after she was told he’s a Jinchuriki. Before she would scold him or hit him for being annoying, an “idiot”, somewhat perverted, but now she hits him or scolds him if he’s being reckless, especially if the recklessness endangers him and she gets worried for him. Those who still dislike or hate her to this day, y’all need to get over it. Many of us have probably acted the way she did when she was younger and probably still do. Do put a good amount of the blame on Kishimoto for not knowing how to write a female character properly. I do like Sakura as a character (and I do ship her with Naruto or even ship Naruto with any female character from the show that’s his age so like Ino, Tenten, Temari, Hinata, Karui, Karin, Shion, etc) and so I’m waiting for more moments where they interact in Boruto. I understand the hatred or dislike others have for her but let go of it. If ur gonna continue hate a character from a piece of media that came out 20 years ago, then y’all have issues I’m sorry but y’all do. Sasuke would actually kinda understand. That scene was 2 people, Naruto and Sakura, not understanding each other at all. Naruto doesn't understand what it's like to have parents like that and Sakura doesn't understand what having no parents is like, but Sasuke would have been the middle ground there because he understands Naruto but he would also understand Sakura since he was raised by Fugaku. The movie isn't even canon so it doesn't even matter since it's not part of her character.

just a reminder that people can change. true, when sakura was a child she was hella annoying and literally doing mostly nothing but complaining, but later in the show we can see that everyday she's fighting for naruto, with naruto, and is always on his side. I myself don't hate sakura, but see her as a regular character (neutral feelings) her with talking about her parents has something to do. I myself was complaining about my mother once to my cousin, whos mother died not that long ago, I totally forgot about that (which I admit was horrible of me, but I said sorry, she's okay) But the thing is that when you don't have parents, you get annoyed by people who complain about theirs, but also think that parents not always are good. some are abusive physically, mentally even if they don't realize that, that you are suffering from them. I kinda understand sakura from that point, but I agree that she should at least think about naruto in saying all of that. Remember about the fact that she is typically a tsundere-like personality character, so it's normal for her to be a bit harsh on her friends. ALSO that she often showed how much she actually cares about naruto. I just wanted to share my opinion about it, considering that other characters, such as sasuke, who always was... WELL, don't get that big hate as sakura does for something she did in the past. also, people who have parents sometimes don't understand how painful it is actually not having them, yet sometimes it can be really painful having them.

This is an observation I've made(and no, I don't think Sakura is useless) but out of everyone in team 7, including Yamato and Sai... she had the closest to a normal upbringing and she didnt get traumatized at a young age like the others. I think aside from the effort she put in for her ninja stuff, she had it pretty easy growing up. Even compared to others from their class and the above class. Yet she was still out here crying and being a little brat.
