I support Caps, but I happy that the rivalry is reigniting again. Caps were much better in the first half of the game, and then they decided that this is done and stopped playing. Great game, let's wait for the other 4 games left this season

I know I'm just one guy but I sometimes watch these highlights because I dont have time to watch all the games. Having the score immediately visible in the description ruins some of the anticipation in the highlights. Would you be able to push it further down to make me have to click "see more"? Wasn't really a great save. It was more a poor 2-on-0 execution by Hagelin/Jensen, who are two of the worst shooters on the Caps rosters.

I remember last year when they brought had Jarry backing up Murray and I remember thinking, “where’s my boy the late bloomer DeSmith?” He played really well two years ago as back up and I was surprised he never was in the rotation last year. Definitely glad to see him playing well for us when Jarry has been looking shaky.

@Peter I feel you! You guys have alot more depth than we do right now though, and im sure you guys will finish in the top 4 and make another playoff push! Your prospects are really good too, I think Connor McMichael will be a 40 goal guy one day.. Jakub Vrana is about as talented as they come (took a step back after the cup run) nonetheless should be great for years to come and Kuzy, Carlson, Ovi are all elite players at their positions.. I like your chances as much as anyone! Good game though

I like Samsonov to be honest. I mean he was solid as a #2 behind Holtby and I know he struggled in the game Sunday but I like him as a #1... I think every goalie is struggling now due to almost no camp time and exhibition! I know our guys both have.. Jarry looked bad in Philly, DeSmith gave up 7 goals in 2 games to you guys.. hard to say

@Purr Snickety Not sure why Kuzy dumped the puck? It's a weak part of his game. Usually he tries to carry the puck into the o-zone. A flip dump would have better because DeSmith would have had more of a challenge handling the puck. Caps coaches had to have informed the team that DeSmith can handle the puck well. I guess that info landed on deaf ears!
