When searching through #GitHub issues and pull requests, sometimes you want to filter out all items that have a specific label. For example, you might want to see all issues labeled as "Feature Request" that are not also labeled as "Help wanted"
GitHub's exclude filters make this easy. To exclude issues with a label from the results, just alt/option click on the label in the label widget. You can also write the filter syntax yourself with -label:LABEL_NAME. The '-' tells GitHub to exclude results with that label
