I did something like this the other week. My partner and her family wanted to make a turtle out of 2 tyres. I had to cut 1 tyre into 4 strips, then screw them onto the whole tyre as legs. We used a Rugby Ball as the head. I just used a sharp knife for the walls, but had to use an angle grinder for the steel belted tread. Big mistake. Burnt rubber over everything. Destroyed a good hoodie. Melted rubber in the bottom of my feet, in the shower & bed. The project looks good but has stalled. It's supposed to go on her grandma's grave, but her family had to leave, so it's on pause.

Sawzall would make short work of most demolition work but also makes a mess out of whatever you are doing you would prob still need to hand score certain points. You are not going through that steel ring in the center.

How to filet a not-so-freshly-caught wild Pirelli. Start with the belly fat, slice against the grain to extract the ribs. Proceed with the removal of the main bone. Remember, around not across. Then you can slice radially and you're left with some beautiful filets. Enjoy.
