Watch this video to know why Elon Musk deleted his Facebook and Insta accounts, and why you should too! Last year, WhatsApp co-founder and former Facebook employee Brian Acton went to Twitter to encourage people to #DeleteFacebook in light of the company’s recent privacy scandal with Cambridge Analytica.Turns out Elon Musk, the eccentric CEO of both SpaceX and Tesla, thought it was a great idea. After tweeting back to Acton asking, #ElonMusk #Musk #Elon #Tesla #SpaceX #Neuralink #Technology #Cars #Space #SpaceTravel #TheBoringCompany #OpenAI #SolarCity “What’s Facebook?” Someone suggested that Musk delete SpaceX’s corporate Facebook page. “I didn’t realize there was one. Will do,” he replied. Then someone suggested he also delete Tesla’s corporate Facebook page. “Definitely. Looks lame anyway,” Musk replied. And that was that. Both pages appear to have been deleted. SpaceX’s page had more than 2.7 million followers. Again, Elon Musk is against social media. Elon Musk suggests to delete your Facebook and use the alternative instead. This is a very interesting video, so enjoy. This is not the first time that Musk has been ‘accused’ by someone at Facebook of not understanding what AI is. CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also in the past termed Musk’s views on AI as “pretty irresponsible”.Musk and Zuckerberg aren’t really the best of friends. In 2017, Musk said that Zuckerberg’s understanding of the future of AI is pretty “limited”. In February this year, the Tesla CEO has called Facebook “lame” and tweeted #DeleteFacebook. In reply to Oscar winner actor Sacha Baron Cohen’s rather scathing tweet on Facebook and Zuckerberg, Musk tweeted, “#DeleteFacebook It’s lame.” As for Musk, he deleted his Facebook account in 2018. In a tweet Musk had said, It’s not a political statement and I didn’t do this because someone dared me to do it. Just don’t like Facebook. Sorry. Musk has said that AI will be much smarter than people, putting humans at a tremendous disadvantage. "I think generally people underestimate the capability of AI - they sort of think it's a smart human," Musk said at a talk with Alibaba CEO Jack Ma at the World AI Conference in Shanghai, China. "But it's going to be much more than that. It will be much smarter than the smartest human." And he's made much more alarming statements than that. "AI is a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization," he said in 2017. "I have exposure to the most cutting-edge AI, and I think people should be really concerned by it."

Popularly referred to as the Real-life Tony Stark, Elon Musk is the founder and CEO of SpaceX, an American aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services. He is also the co-founder, CEO, and product architect at Tesla Motors, the founder of The Boring Company and Co-founder of Neuralink and initial chairman of OpenAI.
Tesla has proven that electric vehicles can be desirable, combining outstanding performance and high-tech interiors with usable driving range. The Model X crossover has room for up to seven. It’s also the most expensive Tesla, featuring the unique Falcon Wing doors. You have your pick of two sedans: the larger, more expensive Model S is a hot rod. The smaller, less pricey Model 3 Performance isn’t far behind. The company has also revealed its wildly styled pickup truck, the Cybertruck.
Tesla manufactures the Model S, the first zero-emission, zero-gas, full-size electric vehicle on the market. In addition, Tesla has produced battery packs, electric motors, and other powertrain components that will power all-electric, plug-in vehicles-not only Tesla’s, but also those of other vehicle manufacturers.

My grandfather told me when I was 13 that I should never derive my worth as a human being from acceptance of other people. Miss the old guy.

It has always struck me how hard people try to protect their privacy in real life and then expose every aspect of it on social media.

As someone who is 18, social media is an awful invention. During my younger teen years when I first downloaded Instagram, I started to suffer from depression and anxiety, and I wholly blamed social media for that. I saw things that no 13 year old should have ever saw. After I deleted Instagram, Snapchat, tiktok and Twitter my mental health sky rocketed. I honestly wish social media didn’t exist, it isolates us

I’m 2 years without social media and I’ve never felt better in life. It’s so sad seeing people addicted to something that’s ruining their lives

He's right, social media is evil and has created people to be narcissistic! I watched my ex partner completely change when the mobile phone came out. She went from confident and happy to someone obsessed with proving herself to people, it was sad. I guarantee if social media was completely removed people would become human again and society would get better.

The thing people call social media is not social, therefore there isn't such a thing as "social media". It's 1% social but 99% media. Talking to real people in person, eye to eye, doing stuff together, being upfront and honest, is the only true 100% social activity.

As someone who deleted instagram, facebook and twitter I can't describe how much peace I've found without those toxic platforms full of lies and deception.

When I was a kid in the 70s and 80s, Saturday mornings--especially in Summer--were full of social interactions. Streets were full of kids playing, adults gardening, going to the shops or washing their cars. So much life, so much human interaction... Now, streets are largely empty. Everyone is indoors looking at their screens. The world has become like a dystopian sci fi movie and every year it seems to get worse.

For me, quitting social media after 12 years is definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. 😃👍🤜🤛

Great video. We all strive for financial independence and better life. It’s not difficult in achieving this through the right investment, living frugally, and budgeting. I’m glad I learned early in life to work hard for financial freedom

Deactivating Facebook and deleting Instagram was my best decision too. I was constantly distracted and started to think like others who are not passionate about their dreams whatsoever. This made me feel like an average. However, when I'm alone I find myself as my own competent and try to improve myself. Indeed, I'm way happier than I was previously.

Thank goodness you brought this up! Truly, investing has changed my perspective on how one can succeed in life; working multiple jobs isn't the optimal way to attain financial freedom and unfortunately, we discover this later in life. Currently earn as much as 10 grand weekly and this has improved my financial life. Great piece!

This is honestly the best thing anyone could do. I haven’t had social media in 7+ years. Best decision ever of not being on it. I honestly believe social media is the death to society. Social media masks true feelings

I deleted social media a few months ago, and honestly it's been one of the best decisions I've made this year

Awesome. I always tell the same thing to my friends and family. Social media became a sort of a bubble of “perfect life” that hides all the common problems we all have. It’s pretty dangerous for the kids growing up in an environment like that where people are starving for likes and looking for acceptance at all costs.

Deleted my Facebook 2 weeks ago. My thought process and motivation to do better in life is kicking in. Time to get real and nevermind that social media chaos. It’s meant to cause chaos. I choose peace instead. Good for my soul.

Social media has become something very sinister. It's accountable for a LOT of bad things.

You know social media made people really comfortable and confident with disrespecting people without getting punched in the face .
@bazhughes5625 +1
Dumped all my social media in 2015 and my TV in 2011. Seriously, the combination of doing both lets me see the world much more clearly and realistically. Both dumb you down, perpetuate propaganda, and takes up precious time over something that could be more beneficial, making us better humans in all areas. I'm on the fence about Elon with his views and motives, but I sure as hell agree with him on this one.
