Ingredients and Measurements:
For a small batch (what I made in the video):
6 large eggs
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cans evaporated milk
1 can condensed milk
2 tsp. mixed or vanilla essence
1/2 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg
For a large batch:
12 large eggs
1 cup brown sugar
4 cans evaporated milk
2 cans condensed milk
4 tsp. mixed or vanilla essence
1 tsp. freshly ground nutmeg

They are so happy that there is someone who can make Guyanese food so that the new generation (my daughter and I) can learn how to make some of these things. We also have a lot of family in Queens. I recently used regular whole milk and it came out beautiful.. just like using carnation milk. Give it a try. Let me know how it works out using almond, soy or oat milk. I will try using almond milk next. I'll keep u posted...

Thanks. We never put custard powder. I'm sure you can put if you want. Maybe whisk in a tablespoon or two

Yummy. I have extra eggs I think I will make some this week for hubby. Instead of sugar, I will use 1/4 cup of monkfruit "sugar".
