The incredible thing is that Robin Williams wasn't just one of the best comedians and impressionists that I can think of, he was also an absolutely fantastic actor. I think his acting in "Awakenings" is still one of the most moving performances I have ever seen. Thank God that we have things like this clip to remember him by.

One of a kind. The way he switches from pure comedy to insightful deep chats is unreal.

Underneath all the different characters, the laughter and the jokes, was one very sensitive beautiful soul. Robin you were very special to so many of us.

you never realise that people like him who have the ability to chase away your life demons by making you cry with laughter are fighting their own and they have no-one to chase theirs away.what a sad sad loss of an absolute legend.

After all this years, Robin Williams still makes me both, laugh so hard till my eyes water - and profoundly sad (eyes still watering somehow) at the same time. Such incredible heart, wit and talent.

I worked on Being Human with him in Glen Nevis in 1993. I have a signed photo of me him and another extra. There was a lot of work and we all got to know him very well. He was a really nice person. Always there for the crew making us all laugh. The weather was pretty wet and cold but never saw him show any sign of weakness. He was amazing at copying the various accents of the crew who were a mixed bunch from all over. I met also David Putnam there who was the producer. He was a nice man very friendly also have a picture of him. I am glad I got to meet Robin Williams. I feel very lucky.

When Stephen comes up with the thought-provoking stuff & Robin just abruptly sends you to an entirely different place 😵 This interview is a masterpiece!

Robin Williams was amazing as a comic, as an actor, and as a human being. I laughed so hard every time I saw him.

One hour photo is one of his finest roles, he was a brilliant dramatic actor and he could have played anything. A genuinely beautiful man.

Robin could command the attention and the humour in any crowd, young or old, at anytime. Truly masterful. Literally locked in permanently in the hearts and minds of people globally, simply by mere communication, comically and in all seriousness.

Robin knew when to tone it down. After his manic performance during the first 25 minutes, he tones it WAY down when Stephen Fry comes out. While Stephen is talking about the bears in Peru, Robin is funny but still very respectful and times his interruptions well. He obviously respected Stephen a great deal. Two geniuses in one interview. What a treat!

Robin has always been, by far, my absolute favorite and the best comedian in the world. There's no matching the genius of his comedy. I only wish he could've seen more of the positive aspects of his life, instead of what was making him sad. I'm glad he is no longer suffering. He will forever be loved and missed by all of us.

I adore this wonderful man's genius. He still brings happy tears. Forever missed.
